Hospitality software: floor, waiters and kitchen in one app

For cafés and restaurants: tables laid out like your floor, waiters with PINs, kitchen and bar tickets, a QR menu and tablets that work only as registers. It all connects to inventory and recipes. Live trading requires the Serbian Tax Administration to approve our fiscal cash register (Solve Kasa), which is still under review.

Coming soon. Fiscal receipts go through Solve Kasa, which is awaiting Tax Administration approval. Until then the module runs in demo mode only.

Floor

Floor, tables and venue plan

The screen shows your venue as it is: which tables are taken, how much is on each and who is serving it.

Areas of the venue

Main room, terrace, courtyard and other areas, each with its own tables. A taken table shows the amount, time and waiter.

Floor designer

Draw the plan in meters: bar, walls, entrance and tables you drag into place. Use a sketch or a photo of the plan as the background.

Move and merge tables

Move guests to a free table, or merge two taken tables so the items end up on one.

Shifts and today’s overview

Shifts and a per-waiter summary, while the owner sees how the day is going in “Today in the venue”.

Orders

Waiters, tickets and modifiers

Waiters with PINs

Each waiter signs in with their own PIN on a shared device. Their name goes on the ticket and as the cashier on the receipt.

Kitchen and bar tickets

Orders split into kitchen and bar tickets on their own. The ticket screen refreshes every 8 seconds with a sound, oldest tickets first. Items can carry notes, and every cancellation has a reason.

Modifiers

Size, milk, side dish: a modifier changes the price and the raw materials used, and shows on the ticket and the receipt.

Ticket printing

Star CloudPRNT and Epson Server Direct Print printers pick up tickets on their own. Other printers print from the browser.

Payment

Settling a table without double charging

Whole table or part of it

Charge the whole table or only selected items and quantities. One bill can be paid with more than one payment method.

No double charging

The same table can’t be charged from two devices at the same time.

Pro forma from the table

When a guest asks, you issue a fiscal pro forma for the whole table, and the final receipt for the same amount refers to it.

On the house

An item “on the house” or a write-off always needs a reason. Stock is reduced by recipe, and the shift summary lists every comped item.

QR menu

QR menu and ordering from the table

QR menu

Guests scan a QR code and see the current menu with prices, with no reprinting.

Ordering per table

Each table has its own QR code. Guests order and pick modifiers, and the order waits for a waiter to accept it.

Call the waiter, ask for the bill

“Call waiter” and “Bill” buttons send a request to the floor, with a sound alert.

Tablet

A tablet as your register

Pairing by QR code

The tablet shows a code, you scan it with your phone, and the tablet becomes your venue’s register.

Register mode

A screen with no menus or settings. Waiters work with their PINs, and only the owner’s PIN exits the mode.

The device sees only the register

The tablet has its own account that can’t see invoices, clients or the bank, only tables, orders and shifts.

When a device goes quiet

If a tablet stays silent during opening hours for longer than the minutes you set, the owner and manager are notified in the app and by email.

How it works

Hospitality, step by step

  1. Draw your venue

Areas, tables and the bar in the floor designer.

  2. Enter the menu

Items with a station (kitchen or bar), modifiers and recipes in inventory.

  3. Add waiters and devices

A PIN for each waiter, and tablets paired by QR code.

  4. Start serving

The waiter rings items to a table, tickets go to the kitchen or bar, and the table is settled whole or in parts.

Notes

Good to know before you start

  • Receipts are fiscalized through Solve Kasa, which is awaiting approval by the Serbian Tax Administration. Until approval the module runs in demo mode only, and receipts are not fiscal.
  • Printing on Star and Epson printers has been verified in simulation, not on a physical printer.
  • No Wolt or Glovo integration, reservations, loyalty program, happy-hour pricing or multiple venues under one account.
  • QR ordering has no online payment: guests pay the waiter.
  • The register needs a constant internet connection.
  • Check with your accountant whether a guest should get a fiscal pro forma before paying.

Works on desktop, tablet and phone – installs like an app (PWA)

Open invoice.solve.rs in your browser and add it to your phone’s home screen. Nothing to download from an app store. The interface is in Serbian; invoice PDFs can also be in English.

Questions

Hospitality: frequently asked questions

Can I use it in my venue today?

Not for live trading yet, because the fiscal cash register is awaiting Tax Administration approval. You can try it on a demo account: tables, tickets and payment work, and receipts are marked as non-fiscal.

Do I need special hardware?

No. It runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone, with a constant internet connection. A ticket printer is optional.

How do waiters share one tablet?

Each signs in with their own PIN. The waiter’s name goes on the ticket and the receipt, and in register mode other waiters’ tables show as taken and can’t be opened.

How do the QR menu and table ordering work?

Each table has its own QR code. Guests see the menu, order, call the waiter or ask for the bill. The order waits for a waiter to accept it, and payment goes through the waiter.

Which printers are supported for tickets?

Star printers with CloudPRNT and Epson printers with Server Direct Print. The integration follows the manufacturers’ documentation and has been verified in simulation, not on a physical printer. Other printers print from the browser.

Is stock reduced by recipe?

Yes. Sales consume raw materials by recipe, including modifiers. Items on the house and write-offs also reduce stock, and refunds restore it.

Can I split the bill for a table?

Yes. Charge only selected items and quantities, and the rest stays on the table until it is paid.
